A Respectful, Responsive Sanctuary for Those Affected by HIV/AIDS

Since 1998, Richard’s Place has provided independence, dignity and well-being to people affected by HIV/AIDS. Our safe, affordable housing (permanent and transitional), and day-to-day support services, focus on ensuring these vulnerable individuals feel valued and loved in Waukesha County.

Our mission is threatened, though. Changes in federal funding rules might force us to close. We don’t know where our clientele – already coping with a life-threatening condition – will go. They don’t, either.

You can help. Richard’s Place will survive with funding (donate here or here) from our supporters. Together, we can continue helping those who have nowhere to turn, at a time when they need it most.
