Give the precious gifts of time, creativity and compassion to Richard’s Place through a variety of volunteer and service opportunities. We welcome volunteer ideas and we will find a way for you to become involved in Richard’s Place that suits your interests.

Baking or Cooking – Help to make a meal or desserts at your home or at the supportive group home for people in the community with or affected by HIV/AIDS. If desired, stay and serve the meal and assist with clean-up.
Companionship – Volunteers that are compassionate, have a caring personality, and possess confidentiality are needed to provide friendship to a person infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Talk one-on-one, provide support and friendship.
Driving – Compassionate and nonjudgmental volunteers that are friendly and good listeners are needed to drive residents to appointments as needed in Waukesha.
Holiday or Seasonal Parties – Share your desire to have fun, and make holiday or seasonal parties special at this group home by volunteering your time to help with the planning, purchasing of items, baking, decorating, helping the day of the party, or any other way you are able to.
Yard Work – Weeding, cutting the lawn, raking leaves, planting flowers and other yard projects at this group home in Waukesha for individuals with or affected by HIV/AIDS. Volunteer times are flexible to meet the demands of your schedule. Seasonal work, as needed.
Fundraising – Volunteers needed to help with fundraising events to support people in the community living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
Outings Assistant – Have fun while socializing and assisting adults with disabilities enjoy community outings like shopping, the zoo, movies and more! Volunteers may be asked to push manual wheelchairs.
Activities Assistant – Volunteers needed to lead and assist residents with craft projects, photo albums, painting, share a hobby- the list goes on! This friendly group looks forward to meeting you.
Item Donation Drive – Hold an item donation drive for items needed by residents of Richard’s Place. Items included but not limited to personal hygiene products, food, paper products, cleaning supplies etc.
